Health care

We offer health offers for the following stages of life:

• Puppy/kitten purchase
• Youth health check incl. vaccination
• Pupertity- Check for questions around neutering
• Annual check incl. vaccination and parasite prophylaxis
• Dental check for problems around the mouth
• Senior check incl. laboratory analysis and further clarifications for healthy aging
• Behavior check for questions about problems such as fear, behavioral disorders or other abnormalities
• Nutrition check for questions about nutrition incl. barfing etc.

Internal medicine and dermatology

• Clinical examination incl. basic medical care
• complicated clarifications like Cushing, hypo- or hyperthyreosis, diabetes etc.
• inpatient treatment and care with infusion machines and oxygen supply
• emergency medicine
• Ophthalmology (fluorescence test, eye pressure measurements with TONOVET)
• Ultrasound examinations of the abdomen for clarification of cystitis, pancreatitis, tumors etc.

Surgery and anAesthesia

• Surgical procedures of all soft tissues (castrations, tumor resections, foreign body removals, gastric torsions, etc.)
• Anesthesia with gentle inhalation anesthesia with isoflurane and oxygen
• Anesthesia monitoring and documentation by a certified veterinary assistant with specialized training in anesthesia

Diagnostics

• own laboratory in the practice for blood and urine tests, thus laboratory analyses and specific treatments are possible on the same day
• more complex laboratory analyses are brought to an external laboratory by courier service
• X-ray with modern digital development
• ultrasound examination on the awake animal for all organs and also for pregnancy examinations

GynAEcology and breeding

• Preventive examinations (X-ray/genetic tests) for breeding approval (such as HD, ED, etc.)
• Determination of the optimal mating time with hormone test and cytology
• Breeder support incl. documentation from mating to whelping or sale
• Artificial insemination for bitches incl. insemination of the male dog

dentistry

Chiropractic

Chiropractic is a manual therapy for examination and treatment of joints with reduced mobility (especially in the spine) and pain conditions of mechanical origin. Chiropractic treatment affects the nervous and muscular system and can be used in the following situations:

• Chronic disease of the musculoskeletal system
• Acute tension and stiffness
• To maintain mobility in older animals
• To maintain performance in sport animals

Animal chiropractic is not a substitute for primary medical care, but is integrated into it.
