Today, many areas of modern veterinary medicine are as extensively researched as many specialties in human medicine and can no longer be covered by a single veterinarian as in the past. Therefore, we are pleased to be able to offer the most modern small animal medicine on the highest, newest level by task sharing in our practice, in the individual areas, thanks to our veterinarians. This especially in the field of dermatology/skin diseases, allergology, dentistry/dental medicine- in the field of dogs and cats, rodents, reptiles and fish medicine, here especially concerning the Japanese ornamental carps, the koi. With more than 20 years of practical experience in small animal medicine and surgery and the continuous training of our veterinarians, our practice guarantees you and your protégé, whether dog, cat, rodent, reptile, bird or fish an optimal, competent medical care. Our small animal practice was founded in the mid-90s by Dr.med.vet. Julika Fitzi-Rathgen and has since been managed medically and administratively by her and her husband Roger Fitzi- also a practicing veterinarian. Our clientele includes customers from all over eastern Switzerland. Especially pet owners from the city and region of St.Gallen /SG, the towns of Teufen, Herisau (Appenzeller Mittelland) Gossau, Uzwil (St.Galler Fürstenland) Mörschwil, Rorschach (Lake Constance) and of course Abtwil/ Engelburg take advantage of our services, including home visits. Koi owners are cared for as far away as Zurich in the whole Rhine Valley and in the neighboring countries (Lake Constance area). Dr.med.vet. Julika Fitzi-Rathgen (veterinarian) graduated in Munich at the Ludwig- Maximilian University and received her doctorate in Zurich. And....more Med. vet.
