Although we call ourselves a "practice", we have a great deal of specialist knowledge and the technical equipment to do so, as otherwise only larger clinics can offer. Since we are a small team (2 small veterinarians, 2 veterinary practice assistants, 1 apprentice) we know our patients. The clientele does not always have to deal with changing doctors. Personal care is important to us. As a matter of principle, we do not employ assistant veterinarians, so you always know who you are dealing with. With us all animals are private patients!

In addition to general consultations with feeding and husbandry advice for dogs, cats and many other pets as well as pets such as rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas and degu, we also care for reptiles and turtles as a speciality. We are a manageable and very personal veterinary practice that cares about the well-being, overall health maintenance and quality of life of your pet and can provide comprehensive advice to you as a pet owner in the sense of a health manager. However, we also provide competent advice to pet owners in the area of communicable diseases from animals to humans.

Our specialized examinations and treatments are offered every working day, this in contrast to most other veterinary practices or clinics. We are particularly well equipped in our specialized fields:

• Ophthalmologist, eye clinic (every day, specialist in the field, very good technical equipment).
• Skin diseases: Dermatology and allergology
• Heart diseases (cardiology with ECG and ultrasound)
• Internal medicine with own modern laboratory
• Surgery (general surgery, orthopedic surgery, bone fractures)
• Orthopedics (limping, lameness and back pain, pain therapy)
• Orthopedic therapies: Shock wave therapy and ZRT extracellular matrix therapy.
• Radiology: digital X-ray and ultrasound
• Dentist, dental clinic (dental hygiene, dental treatment and jaw surgery)

Although we can perform many specialized examinations if necessary, we always keep in mind the patient and his quality of life as a whole, and we seek to talk with the owners to find the most appropriate treatment for each pet.

Once the diagnosis has been made, we offer various therapeutic options in addition to all modern medications: Often a diet is necessary, for this we have a wide range of diet feeds with first-class products without artificial preservatives and dyes. Dietary feeds from Hill's, Royal Canin or Vet-Concept are available from us. Also treatments with the shock wave device or the ZRT extracellular matrix therapy device are available as alternative forms of pain therapy for joint pain and muscle pain.

In addition, we of course perform general grooming procedures such as tartar removal with ultrasound or coat grooming. If a patient has to stay with us for a few days, we try to make it as comfortable as possible for the animal. However, the stay should be as short as necessary, because nothing beats your own home!

Conveniently located on the main street in the center of Altendorf on Lake Zurich, the practice rooms are easy to find. Our customer parking spaces are located directly in front of the entrance. You can also reach us easily by public transport: The bus stop Altendorf Stoglen, is directly in front of the house and the S-Bahn station Altendorf is only 200 m away.
