Tierarztpraxis am Rosenberg (St. Gallen)

The roots of today's practice go back to 1942, when Dr. med. vet. Willi Krapf opened a large and small animal practice at St. Magniberg 10 in St. Gallen and was subsequently appointed cantonal veterinarian. In 1959 he handed over the veterinary practice to Dr. med. vet. Oscar Zürrer.

In 1962, he moved the practice to Iddastrasse 47 in St. Gallen. During the early years of the practice, Dr.med.vet. Oscar Zürrer experienced the fight against various animal epidemics at first hand as a district veterinarian. The epidemics of foot and mouth disease also affected the practice area around St. Gallen, as well as bovine tuberculosis, bang, IBR and rabies. During his 34 years of practice, he was actively supported by his wife Ruth Zürrer.

In 1993 Dr.med.vet. Oscar Zürrer and Ruth Zürrer handed over the large and small animal practice at Iddastrasse 47 to their successors Dr. med. vet. Dieter Fleischer and Daniela Fleischer-Stadler.

The move to Goethestrasse 58 under the new name "TIERARZTPRAXIS AM ROSENBERG" took place on April 26, 1999.
