On the underwater treadmill, many therapeutic goals are achieved simultaneously. The entire body of your dog is stressed as the water creates resistance while running. The musculature is more stressed, while the joints are relieved. Thus dogs, which move in the dry only under pain, can train on the underwater treadmill almost painless. The steady movement under water helps to train a physiological gait and to avoid bad posture.
